Excellent experience start to finish – always very responsive to any queries and the turnaround on the property I was buying was very quick, even in the busy time leading up to stamp duty deadline. Jenny was always very helpful and went above and beyond to close on a short timescale.
The whole Davis Blank Furniss team believes that effective communication and maintaining close working relationships with our clients are essential. We offer all the services you’d expect of a law firm but we like to go above and beyond when needed. One of the ways in which we do this is by offering bespoke in-house Employment Law training sessions that are tailored to the size, needs and resources of a particular business.
Employment Law is complex and getting it wrong can cost a company or organisation dearly. Our in-house training programme aims to dispel the myths and tackle head on the issues that affect our clients. Myself and my colleague – Shiva Shadi – are able to come into our clients’ offices and address their concerns in a familiar environment and at a pace that suits them. The list of areas that we train on is lengthy but some of the most popular topics include;
- Grievance procedures:- investigations, disciplinaries, hearings and appeals
- Dealing with flexible working requests
- Managing poor performance
- Managing sickness absence
- Handling redundancies
- Recruitment
We also stage regular public Employment Law Updates at our head office in Manchester which can – again – be tailored if necessary. I’ve listed the more practical subjects above but we’ve assisted on many other issues including social media, misconduct, equal opportunities and discrimination.
If you think you could benefit from one of our in-house training courses, then please do email or call me for an informal chat.
