Davis Blank Furniss has acted in a deal that saw Marlow Montessori School acquired by Alba Nurseries. This addition to the group’s portfolio complements the two nurseries it already operates in London and Slough. The school has a reputation for focusing on outdoor learning and maintaining a kind and curios approach to learning. The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
Marlow Montessori School operates from a village hall with a secure, enclosed outdoor play and provides a forest school for the children in a nearby woodland. The setting opened in 1993 and has become known locally for providing excellent quality Montessori education. This is reflected in its consistent ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating.
