DBF are a class act. We used them for the sale of a house. Professional, clear and responsive. Craig and Belinda who handled our case were great. Nothing was too much trouble, responsive and easy to get hold of.
The corporate and commercial team at Davis Blank Furniss has acted in a deal that saw Tre-Ysgawen Hall – a four-star country house hotel and spa in Capel Coch, Llangefni on the Isle of Anglesey – sold to property development company K2RE for an undisclosed sum.
Tre-Ysgawen Hall was originally built as a luxurious family home in 1882 and became a hotel in 2002. It caters for both local clientele and as a tourist destination for international and domestic travellers. The hotel, which remains a centrepiece in what is popular holiday resort, boasts 30 bedrooms, a gym, swimming pool and spa facilities as well as a banqueting and conference suite.
Davis Blank Furniss represented the sellers of Tre-Ysgawen Hall. It led on what was a multi-jurisdictional transaction and advised on all business, property and employment matters. The team was led by Sonio Singh, partner. He was supported by Lauren Sever, corporate senior associate; Shiva Shadi, employment partner; and Rhiannon Turner, property solicitor.
Sonio said: “Tre-Ysgawen Hall is a stunning and much-loved hotel in a key holiday destination. After being the lead adviser over recent years, including throughout the pandemic, we were delighted to work with the sellers on the sale in accordance with the relevant timeframe and we wish the new owners all the best with their ambitious future plans.”
