Excellent experience start to finish – always very responsive to any queries and the turnaround on the property I was buying was very quick, even in the busy time leading up to stamp duty deadline. Jenny was always very helpful and went above and beyond to close on a short timescale.
Davis Blank Furniss, the Manchester based law firm, has advised its client Blue Training Limited on the recent acquisition of The Bower Hotel in Chadderton, Greater Manchester.
The deal saw Blue Training relocate to The Bower Hotel and the firm has now taken over day to day running of the site. It is also launching a new training academy for young people including courses on cooking and food production, front of house management, beverage functions and housekeeping.
The next few months will also herald the refurbishment of the hotel’s reception and main function rooms.
The advisory team from Davis Blank Furniss included Sonio Singh (Corporate), Richard Hamilton and Caroline Williams (Property), Andy McNish (Banking) and Anna Bunting (Employment/Licensing).
Steve Johnson and Mike Newton of Parker Gradwell Chartered Accountants provided accounting and tax advice to Blue Training. The deal was funded by NatWest Bank.
Sonio Singh, partner in the Corporate and Commercial Team at Davis Blank Furniss commented, “Although it was a fairly straightforward transaction, the acquisition involved significant complexity with multiple sellers and a comprehensive due diligence process. We were really pleased to assist Blue Training and to help it develop its corporate strategy.”
