Excellent experience start to finish – always very responsive to any queries and the turnaround on the property I was buying was very quick, even in the busy time leading up to stamp duty deadline. Jenny was always very helpful and went above and beyond to close on a short timescale.
We are pleased to announced that three members of our team have been promoted and we have appointed the latest intake of new trainee solicitors.
The first promotion is Rhiannon Turner who is now an associate solicitor. Rhiannon joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in October 2020 and qualified as a solicitor in April 2022. She handles all aspects of commercial and residential property, including acquisitions and disposals, acting for both landlords and tenants in commercial lease matters, and corporate support and assistance in company sales, acquisitions and mergers.
Also in the property team, Craig Marsden has been promoted to senior associate residential conveyancer. Craig was appointed two years ago. His remit includes the purchases and sales of both leasehold and freehold properties (flats, houses, newbuilds, right to buys, help to buys and shared ownership), remortgages and Transfers of Equity.
The final promotion is Olivia Rollinson. Olivia arrived at Davis Blank Furniss in April 2023 as a trainee solicitor. Prior to joining the firm, she studied Biology at the University of York before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at BPP University. She is now a solicitor in the corporate, commercial and employment department.
We have also named Chantal Taylor, Himat Singh and Anisah Shafiq as trainee solicitors. They are all on the firm’s LPC programme, and over 24 months they will spend six months each in the business, property and dispute resolution departments. Himat and Anisah are new arrivals at the firm, but Chantal was appointed as a paralegal in October 2023 after completing her LPC LLM at The University of Law.
Richard Hamilton – managing partner of Davis Blank Furniss – said: “Rhiannon, Craig and Olivia’s appointments are hugely deserved, thanks to their talents and dedication to always deliver for their clients. Richard added: It is also fantastic to welcome Chantal, Himat and Anisah as our newest trainees. As a firm, we passionately believe in developing the next generation of talent, and I am confident they will benefit from a solid foundation of learning and development over the next two years.”
