Davis Blank Furniss, the Manchester based law firm, is this week launching a brand new department which will offer companies of all sizes bespoke HR support from a handpicked team of experienced Employment Law solicitors.
The new team is headed up by Anna Bunting – partner- and is primarily aimed at both North West and UK wide SMEs that wish to outsource their often complex human resource needs. The launch follows an intense period of consultation with existing clients and contacts. During that process, various sectors were approached and all kept reiterating that they needed a service that would allow them more time to spend growing their organisations and less on handling employee and staffing matters.
Through its HR Package product, the department is now offering a number of core services on both a retained and ‘pay as you go basis’, including; advice on redundancies, unfair dismissals and grievances as well as tribunal claim representation. Additional bolt-ons include a bespoke insurance product for all employment disputes, a dedicated advice line for urgent queries and preferential rates with Davis Blank Furniss for the employees of client companies.
Anna will be joined by colleagues including; Shiva Shadi – partner – and Claire Smith – associate solicitor. The launch follows an exciting 12 months for the firm including a number of key appointments in its Manchester and Glossop offices and the recent launch of a Healthcare division.
