DBF are a class act. We used them for the sale of a house. Professional, clear and responsive. Craig and Belinda who handled our case were great. Nothing was too much trouble, responsive and easy to get hold of.
Kate Oldfield – our managing partner and head of personal injury – was invited onto the BBC Radio Manchester Claire Mooney & Jacqueline Hughes-Lundy Show on Sunday 13th October to discuss her recent (and once in a lifetime!) trip to South East Asia with her family.
The interview was part of the show’s focus on extravagant ways to celebrate a significant birthday; we won’t reveal on here which milestone Kate was celebrating!
In the interview, Kate explained why she decided to make the journey and what the benefits were; both to her personally as well as to her professional life. During her six week sabbatical from the firm, Kate visited Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
She said; “Making the trip was a huge decision and was a long-time in the planning, but it allowed me to really refocus my thoughts after many, many years of full-on work. I – of course – wasn’t totally cut off and I checked my emails everyday but I knew I had a great team and it was essential I had their support.”
Maybe Kate’s story will inspire others to not put off that long held dream! If you missed the show then you can catch up here.
