Excellent experience start to finish – always very responsive to any queries and the turnaround on the property I was buying was very quick, even in the busy time leading up to stamp duty deadline. Jenny was always very helpful and went above and beyond to close on a short timescale.
The Social, an invitation-only networking group for those in the property & construction sectors which Davis Blank Furniss is involved in, has raised £4,400 at its Christmas lunch for Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention.
Genesis is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer. Angela Wrobel, corporate fundraiser, spoke at the event: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to the sponsors and attendees for supporting us.”
The fundraiser, which was held at The Castlefield Rooms in Manchester, was attended by 130 business people including representatives from our co-sponsors Innov8 Development Solutions, Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants and Bell Munro Consulting. Entertainment was provided by 21 year-old Manchester soul singer Alice Gasson and local photographer Mike Black took all event pictures free of charge.
The money was raised through ticket sales and a raffle & auction where prizes up for grabs included an iPad Mini donated by Midshire Business Systems, and pairs of corporate hospitality football tickets for Manchester United and Manchester City; donated by Barnes Construction, Lancashire Mortgages and Windmill Demolition. There were also 2 tickets to the X Factor tour donated by Nikal Developments.
Sonio Singh, partner from co-organisers Davis Blank Furniss Solicitors commented: “It was an excellent event and one we were extremely proud to co-host. We were really pleased to gather together a group of growing businesses, SMEs and entrepreneurs who raised so much for a fantastic cause. It was a superb afternoon.”
