Position Overview
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a full-time, experienced and dedicated Corporate and Commercial Lawyer to join our vibrant and friendly team at our office in Manchester.
Our thriving Corporate and Commercial team deals with a full range of matters. This role will see you working closely with an enthusiastic team on an interesting and varied corporate and commercial caseload, including mergers and acquisitions, business sales and purchases, corporate re-organisations, EMI Schemes and EOTs, shareholders’ agreements and equity investments/joint ventures.
You will manage your own caseload from instruction to completion, liaising directly with clients, other lawyers, banks and other lenders. You will draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service agreements, and terms and conditions. You will also be responsible for providing high quality, specialised due diligence support to the team’s Partners, as well as supervising and mentoring trainee solicitors or paralegals where appropriate, and managing client relations and developing new business opportunities.
We offer fantastic training and consistent progression opportunities. This role is ideal for a personable Corporate and Commercial Solicitor or CILEX with up to 3 years’ recent PQE experience or equivalent in a similar role, who is looking to join a well-established and highly regarded firm.
