Position Overview

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our friendly team at our office in Manchester.

 

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Answering and forwarding telephone calls via a PC based switchboard system and taking messages where appropriate 
  • Meeting and greeting clients/visitors 
  • Booking meeting rooms 
  • Opening incoming mail and uploading to our case management system 
  • Opening client files, including carrying out anti-money laundering checks 
  • Indexing new Wills and Deeds 
  • Archiving files on our case management system 

 

Skills needed: 

  • Switchboard/Reception experience preferred but not essential 
  • Basic typing skills preferred but not essential 
  • Proficient IT knowledge including Microsoft Office software 
  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 minimum or equivalent) 
  • Ability to use own initiative  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and to strict deadlines 
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and assist with a high-volume and varied workload 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and confidence to liaise with clients, suppliers and colleagues 
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or independently  
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

Experience: Minimum of 6 months Reception/Administration experience (preferred)

Ability to commute/relocate: Manchester M3 7BB (required)
