Davis Blank Furniss is a Manchester and Glossop based law firm, offering a wide range of services for both business and private sectors.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a full-time, experienced and dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join our friendly team at our office in Glossop.

Our thriving Residential Property team deals with the full range of conveyancing matters.  This role will see you leading and working closely with an enthusiastic team on an interesting and varied caseload including sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfer of equity as well as freehold, leasehold and unregistered titles. You will manage your own caseload from instruction to completion, liaising directly with clients, lenders, other conveyancers and estate agents, as well as assisting with management and marketing.

We offer fantastic training and consistent progression opportunities. This role is ideal for a personable Residential Conveyancer with a minimum of three years’ recent experience in a similar role, who is looking to join an established and highly regarded firm.

You will need to have:

  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage a varied caseload
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or on your own initiative
  • Strong legal skills and excellent commercial awareness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the CQS scheme and be able to work in accordance with the Conveyancing Protocol
  • Track record of reviewing files and ensuring high compliance standards.
